It chiefly consists of a dining table, surrounded on two sides by a settee intended to hit in the corner of a wall, and chairs or a bench on lining the third side, typically placed strategically near the kitchen. Despite what the deion seems like, it is completely different from the concept of a normal expansive dining table. A breakfast nook set is specifically designed to be the most ergonometrically efficient arrangement while minimizing utilization of space. The arrangement is intended to fit into corners, so as to take as little space as possible for itself. Aside from this, they have the advantage of being visually appealing.
